I've just replaced replaced the front pads on my Escort van for the seccond time in 6 months, althought I would not consider that to be unusual due to the high mileage that I drive one thing that I did find strange was that the outboard pads were worn down almost to the metal whilst the inboard pads had plenty of lining left on them.
I just wandered if anyone could explain why this may be? Is it just one of those things? The previous pads where Halfords own brand but this time I have used Ferodo pads, however when I looked at the Halfords pads I realised they where made by Ferodo also (so perhaps I should have bought the cheaper Halfords ones again instead).
