I get my dual fuel from N power, on sign on line 24.

According to uswitch, it is the best deal. I spend 1797.76 per annum on both.

I have just had my statement. The new monthly payment is £190.

My current balance is £243.66.

My previous payments were £86.

Npower have just reduced the monthly payment to £170 at my insistance.

I have asked Npower why the payments are so high. Their response is that our usage is high. Maybe it is, but that has been fairly consistent down the years, as confirmed by Npower.

We use 21,079kWh gas and 9375kWh electric in 12 months.

I can't understand (nor can Npower explain) why the payment is doubling if the usage remains similar?

Can you?

dunno, maybe you should get a power usage monitor. my payments are about £20 a month, but then I have no heating in my house. (sorry hovel)

Thanks!

Think I should, but that does not help with the gas...

no, guess not... turn the thermo down by 5 degrees if you can, honestly after a while you hardly notice if ur house is heated or not.... well not until the depths of winter!!
