Gainsborough Shower Kaput.

Hi guys

I have a Gainsborough 9.5 SDL electric shower that has recently conked out.

There is 240 at the shower, but the water trickles out exceedingly feebly.

Is this enough information to tell whether it is an internal electrical fault or a plumbing glitch? Or is the problem related to the intake valve?

As some know, plumbing is a distinctly unchartered area in my world!!

Turn the temperature control to freezing, if the water flow increases to quite a bit, then there is no blockage, if it doesn't then there is

Do you know if the solenoid is operational?

No. Not familiar with shower guts....

Adam....altering the flow rate changes nothing.

A blocked water filter caused the flow rate on my Gainsborough electric shower to decrease and the water to be excessively hot as a result. Might be worth checking ?
