It must be allowed where I live. Neighbours on both sides of me have these 'sheds'. I think it has to be away by 50% from the house and cannot be greater that 2 metres high. If you ask your Local Authority - planning department - they should be able to advise you. It isn't allowed in all areas - depends on your local powers.
