the gap between the garage and the house is less than 1 metre with the total run not exceeding 5m. I am planing to use 4mm cable (pvc) with conduit running between the two buildings. The mcb is an old type 16a (push button type). Inside the garage is a new rcd unit with a 16a and a 6a mcb. There are three lights fed off the lighting circuit and 2 sockets off the 16a (radial). Would any of you consider using swa for such a small length or possibly use 2.5mm cable in any case?? your feedback will be appreciated!!
