Can't find anything in the forum.....

just put in a new kitchen, this time with a seperate gas hob & oven....But is there a special connector for the

1. hob to the oven to the main

or

2. oven to the hob to the main

The hob has a smaller bore connector than the hob...

usual only one gas main connector at the wall where our old free standing cooker came out of.....anyone help ???

Usually the gas feed is split, by means of a "T" joint. Some ovens allow the use of a flexi hose connected to a bayonet fitting, others have to be plumbed in solid pipe. Hobs are, invariably, plumbed in solid pipe, and it would be usual to include an issolator valve for this.

I assume that you are asking this as an accademic question. You are going to get a Corgi Registered guy in to do the actual plumbing, aren't you? Keep the manuals that came with the appliances, he may need to refer to them.
