Gas pipe underfloating floor

If a gas pipe is ran under a floating floor, under the boards and insulation should it be either coated or taped copper?
 
Who is installing the pipe?
Gas pipes are coated to prevent corrosion, I doubt that thermal insulation is going to act in that way.
There maybe other gas regulations to consider though!
 
There is a screed that the pipe will sit on before the insulation is placed on top. Though damp course could be put down so the pipe sits on this
