Can anyone advise on horizontal flue positioning relative to an external opening window? What is the minimum distance that the flue should be situated from the window frame?

I would like to get a boiler with a horizontal flue, the other option, taking a vertical up through the roof, will be a nightmare!!

Thanks for any advice. Of course I will be getting a CORGI to fit the boiler.

Often 300mm but it may very for each manufacturer. Also check distance from boundary to avoid nuisance to neighbours.

Surely you will take the advice of your CORGI engineer at an early stage?

Then you can blame him if it turns out to be wrong!

Good idea. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to come out na dprovide a quote for connecting it up - I can then tell him what I plan to do and find out where the boiler should go. He may charge me for the advice though??
