GE washing machine today filled up with cold water on its own. It was not on, had not been used since last weekend - five days ago. It just silently filled itself with water and I only became aware of what it was doing because it kept filling with water until it got so high that it began overflowing out of the machine and onto the floor. Any idea as to what the problem is?
