Hi,

I have a Glow Worm compact which has developed a fault within the last 3 weeks. When I turn on one hot water tap (kitchen/shower/bath) the hot water will not kick in until I turn on another tap i.e. shower + sink.

When I turn on the second tap I can hear the boiler fire up and hot water will feed through straight away and continue to do so after I switch off the second tap.

The heating works fine, and the pressure gauge shows a consistent 1.5 on the dial. The boiler hasn't been serviced in the last 2 years but I have had no other problems with it.

I've read through your other FAQ's on 'No Hot Water' and 'Pressure Problems' and can't match any up with my problem.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers
Phil

Correct. Its located next to the pump under a brass cover plate and micro switch. You need torx screwdrivers to remove cover plate and while your at it you may aswell replace it as they often leak!
