Glow-worm Micron versus Ideal Classic

Just looking for peoples opinions on reliability of the two ranges of boilers. My sales rep is pushing the glow-worm which makes me suspicious. My family all have Ideal Classics but they are a bit more expensive. Is it a case of you get what you pay for?

I'd go for the Ideal. They seem to last and last and last.

I agree. The classic seems to be the last boiler that Ideal got right

Neother of these are condensing! Is this not required in Ireland?

Condensing is not yet compulsary in Ireland.

the classic with the permanant pilot was the best if you can still get them over there?, unfortunatley we are saddled with condensing cr@p over in england.
