My glowworm boiler keeps switching on then immediately goes off, on/off so on and so on. Swithing off completely from mains and waiting 10 secs sometimes this takes quite a few tries it eventually comes on and works fine then after 2 to 10 hrs what ever it starts switching off/on again. Any ideas?

Does it do this with or without a demand for heat?
I.e hot water or heating calling for it to be on

When you say on/off do you mean boiler starts/stops or do you mean display/power on/off
