Does anyone in here us a Gorilla Tub?

I was gonna buy my plasterer one but he said that they're crap......... which I don't understand.

They seem alright and durable....... and like it says you can kick it to get all your dry mix out which is useful.

Each to his own really. I use them but not generally for plastering. Most plasterers like the smooth tall sided buckets for their mixing but Gorilla buckets are very useful for all kinds of jobs.

there ideal for big mixes but to heavy to lift on your own, there alright if you prefer to take out of the bucket but if you prefer a spot board there too wobbly to pick up and pour.

I think they are great myself.

If you accidently leave a small amount of plaster in them that goes off it is easy to flex the tub and remove it instead of breaking a rigid brittle bucket.

Also great for removing rubbish etc as it is a large tub that can be squeezed to fit through a small doorway.
