GREENSTAR COMBI 30CDI START UP FAULT

I have had the above boiler installed by a corgi reg engineer over the weekend, the boiler itself when first turned on would not fireup after the first 15 minute cycle, the hot water is fine and when the boost button is pressed all the radiators in the house turn on to red hot so that works fine, then just runs on minimum with no heating being produced.

Is this anything that sounds familiar, the engineer is coming back later today.

If you can help or point us in the right direction please help, as is very cold…..

Is the boost button on the room stat? if it is & as you say when you press it the CH works fine, then I would try a different stat & see if it works OK with that.

thanks for the fast reply, the room stat has not been fitted as yet, the only programmer is on the boiler itself.

Has he removed the link on the PCB for the room stat? if he's done that the CH wont fire up.

will find out later, i do know the installer persoanlly and he installs these every day so he's in the dark with this one !!
