My boiler was cutting out every week or so before Christmas with both lights on. I thin one is the overheat lockout and the otehr one is the ignition lockout.
I had it serviced and I was told that the noise the boiler was making was kettling. I drained the entire system the other day and put sentinel stuff to quieten it and also inhibitor. Its not cut out for a while although only time will tell. I also fitted a hydroflow hs34 to deal with the problem going forward.
Would kettling cause the boiler to overheat?
