worcester Bosch Greenstar 42 combi.condesing. Installed 5 yeras ago but not used so much as I live alone and work away. The hot water is run seldom. Central heating working fine but hot water not firing up now. I tried to find a circuit diagram so far no luck. I assume there is a flow demand sensor to signal burn?

Possibly diverter valve?

Check the pushrod is making the switch when hot tap is turned on.

Thanks John, I`ve found and printed out the complete Installation, commisioning and servicing manual and found the Diverter V and Div. V motor. Should I be checking the movement of this spindle (DVM) which I assume inputs to the DV when HW is demanded?

Better to start at the beginning and see if the DHW demand switch is working!

Tony

Thanks Tony, that`s got to be the flow sensor #15 in manual I`ve been looking for. Senses flow and sends signal to DVM which opens DV. I`ve got it now, thanks to both of you.

Mike

No.

The flow sensor sends a signal to the PCB which sets the boiler into the DHW mode!
