I have a diesel supply from a tank into a 15mm copper pipe. I have plenty of quarter inch soft copper tubing I hope to use. So I need to get from the 15mm into the 1/4". I also would like to fit a 1/4" ball valve into the line. I have found some 1/4" valves F/F OR M/F BSP but cannot work out how I can fit them into the line.

Suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Mike

Realised since posting.

What I really need is a valve with 1/4" compression fittings each end. Anyone know if these are available? Where should I look?

Thanks

Mike

Thanks Terrywookfit but sorry I do not know what you mean. The fittings you mention are not familiar to me.

1/4" male iron x compression fitting at the other end.

Hydraulic suppliers such as "Thorite" still sell imperial sizes.

Sorry, completely miffed.

I have googled mi copper adaptors & still fail to see how they work. When I indicated previously I did not understand what you mean I mean exactly that. I was not suggesting it is anything but standard practice but the practice is not familiar to a retired golf professional.
