Hi,

Am just having a new kitchen fitted. The flow rate from the new utility hot water tap is slow. The flow rate from the main sink hot tap is very slow. The hot water flow rate was fine in the kitchen before from the old tap/plumbing. The upstairs hot water flow rate was and is still good. The fitter said we have low hot water pressure. Any suggestions?

The taps should have been selected to suit the pressures available. Who was responsible for their selection? A professional would know that hot water taps made for the international market are frequently unsuitable for the low pressure hot water systems common in the UK.
