I am replacing an old switch. It is single gang but has 2 switches on it. It controls 2 light fixtures currently. There are 3 wires coming out of it. One red wire, one orange wire and a white wire. I want to replace the switch with a single gang with one switch to control the 2 fixtures. I tried to hook up the red and orange wires to one terminal and the white wire to the other terminal on the one way switch but only one of the light fixtures turns on. How can I get both fixtures to turn on with just one switch?
