hi wondered if anybody could help, i work from home, and i want to build a computer shelving unit, yes sounds easy, done 1 for the last house, very stright forward one, but just moved house, and i need another one making, which will be fitted into a bay window recess , the recess is 80 "long at the front widest point, and is 2 ft deep at the back, i have a flatscreen moniter etc, that would sit on the top, and would like some shelving underneath for files , folders etc, can anybody suggest what i use for the top, the rest underneath i would think i could use mdf, any suggestions, images , that i could go off , go easy as i am a lady diyer, thanks julie

Could always use real wood :D
Otherwise, furniture board (beech effect chipboard) or you could use mdf, and laminate or veneer it to get a nicer surface.
