i have bought a elec hob and double oven to replace a gas hob and single elec oven

at the moment the single oven is fed by a 6mm cable with 32 amp mcb

will i have to upgrade the mcb or is that ok ?

in instructions it says " where a hob is fitted adjacent to an oven then a 45 amp D P control switch should be used to feed both units via seperate rated cables " so does that mean i feed both units from the one D P switch using probably 4 mm cable ?
thank you for your help

ratings for oven is max load 5.3 k w

hob... 50-60 hz 5700 w

thats basically an 11kw cooker, which at peak load will need about 50 amps. You will need a 40/45A MCB (taking diversity and christmas dinner into account), and 10mm cable to the cooker control unit. For the appliances, they might only need 6mm cable from here, but for protection of the cable, it is best to use 10mm cable throughout.
