Iv installed and programmed a galaxy 3 system with it all working fine but I'm having a problem linking 2 groups together. I'll exsplain the setup and it will give you a picture of what I mean.
I have a door contact on my front door which I have put in a group with a keyswitch (Iv used a normal switch) that sets and unsets the alarm just for that door, so I'm pretty much using it as a part set. But the problem is that I cannot link it to be used when the system is fully set so it's pretty much omit from them system when it's full set.
Iv tried using the star function within the groups and the links program, but can't seem to do it. Please let me know generally how to do it or if I'm doing it wrong
    Thanks

Dont see a need for you to start using groups, to simply things myself I would disable Groups, Enable 'part' for the door you wish to cover, and the keyswitch zone. That way whenever you flick the switch the system will part set and always be included in a full set.

Err.... thats it, panel defaults to full alarm when part set but can be changed, you'll have to unset before full setting.
