hot starting on rover 216/or maybe not!

my wifes 216 runs well but occasionally it wont start ,usually at a petrol stop or short break .the trick is to wait awhile then try again and eventually it fires up. its getting to be a pain! anyone got any ideas.-my local gge said when it stops completely they can run checks and fix it but i dont want it to breakdown!! any clues anyone??? :oops:
 
hi quick fit --is this an expensive job? the car aint worth much but we like it! cheapest repair scenario?? I can drive a spanner ok! thanx.

It this is the problem, cheep repair for your self. Module around £30.00
Holds in place by 2 screws, and one push in wire. You can do it no problem.
If you have a Unipart ( Partco ) factor near you go there, cheeper than a main dealer.
