hot tap swivels after water flow !

always had a problem with hot taps in bathroom.

Firmly tightened up each tap plus rubber washer above....plastic nut underneath. if you run cold water through them , the taps remain in position perfectly just like the cold taps..

when hot water runs thru the taps for a long time .. when turning off the taps they start to swivel....

plumber comes and tightens the backnuts ......... some time later we are back with a swivel

You can get special backnuts, or loosen it off, clean well and fill ole with sanitary silicone, and do up.

gone for the silicon solution ..............
hot tap on ceramic sink seems to be holding up nicely
