hot water but no ch

i have hot water, but no ch at all, timer kicks in with both lights showing but no ch, all thermostats set at right temperature, i've looked at the motorized valve and seems that the lever is a bit flimsy,system is a potterton 30 suprima.can you please advise,

Sounds like your pump is faulty to me.

Hi, Andy i just had the same prob, got an engineer out and it was the motor on the diverter valve had packed in. new motor on and it fine now. my boiler was a worcester bosch tho. Hope that helps good luck.

I would ask Master Abacus how he immagines the hot water would still work if the pump had failed?

The obvious candidate is a failed three port valve.

It should be possible to move the lever to give a mid position and have CH and HW but that may depend on the failure mode.
