Hi can anyone help please. I'm trying to fit a bath. I've turned the hot water off from the gate valve but it's still dripping any idea what the problem could be and how do I fix it. Many thanks
The problem is the gate valve. Some people fit them to act as service valves, but they are really not suitable for this. They are often used where the flow of water would be restricted by using a service valve, such as on a supply to a shower. Best solution is to fit a temporary stop end until your'e ready to reconnect to the bath tap.
