I've a gravity-fed system and the water pressure in the bathroom is very poor.
I'm hoping to add a twin shower pump in the airing cupboard to resolve the issue.
The hot water coming out of the top of the tank is obvious enough (plan to fit a surrey flange), but I'm unsure of the best way to access the cold water supply.
The hot water exiting the tank splits into two pipes which go up to the attic (see picture 2/4).
There is a third pipe behind them with a valve; I rather hoped this was the gravity cold water supply but I closed the valve and left the bathroom tap running for 15 minutes, no change. My thinking is that if this was the cold water supply the tap would have stopped running during that time. All outlets in the house are off the gravity-fed system except for the mains supplied kitchen outlets.
Any thoughts?
