Hotpoint dishwasher DWF 35

hi,

i have a DWF 35 hotpoint aquarius dishwasher and at the end of the cycle it always leaves a pool of water and residue from the dirty dishes. I have tried to clean out the filter instrument in the bottom of the dishwasher but this makes little difference. I have also bought some of cleaning agents to clean out the washer and this has made no difference.

Has anyone got any ideas?
