i have a Hotpoint WD62 washer dryer, not heat on the dryer, took off the top , and at the lefthand side there is a fan which i believe distributes the heat for the dryer, its not working (turning) however when i give it a twirl with a screwdriver it works, and distributes the heat in the dryer ok, its kinda noisey though, is this part gone ?, as i think, what is the proper name for this part and what price is it.

thanks

john

Fan motor faulty, possibly fan sticking. You'll need to strip it apart to find out.

thanks,
seems free enough, its an induction right?. quoted £70.00 for new one , hardly worth fixing, should i strip it and free it a bit more, already cleared dust with hoover
