hello,

I am using fancy wallpaper for the splashback in our kitchen and then putting a clear perspex panel over it. it will look fab - but only if i get the top of the paper cut straight. how can i do this? can you hire really big gullotines? any advise much appreciated.

A new razor blade or similar against a straight edge should give a good finish

thank you - i feel a bit silly not thinking of that myself. a bloke at my work is bringing in a super sharp pen knife and a metal ruler

Metal rule is perfect....pen knife I would say is not sharp enough & probably the blade thickness might make it tear. Use a razor blade or scalpel knife, B+Q sell many different types, The paper will blunt it quickly.
