How do I clean old terracota tiles?

I have 600 reclaimed victorian terracota floor tiles to clean up before we can use them in our cottage kitchen.

Any ideas on the best way to clean the old grout / cement off?

I would have to see them 1st ,

but if just mildly stained you can clean with bal BAL HEAVY DUTY TILE CLEANER
