How long does multi finish plaster last?

As the title say's

I've got a bag of multi finish which has been opened for a few weeks, is it ok to use? the use by date is fine, but didn't know if this would be reduced since i had opened it?

What would happen if i did use it, would it go off quicker or something else?

If it's still well in date it should be OK as long as it's been stored in a dry place with the top of the bag rolled down. If your doing some localised filling it should be OK but if your planning to do a wall, it might be prudent to chuck it & buy new. When out of date it will go off almost as you mix it!
