Hi there,
Have laid a foundation and am about to start blocklaying a straight block wall.
I have one of those bricky tools and i want to give it a go myself!
I will be laying about 220 blocks.
What would be a fair amount of sand to order(in tonnes)
The reason im asking is i havent much space to store either the block or the sand @ the moment.
Cheers,
Marty.

It will be fun to see a brickie tool in the foundations - you do know that the first course has to be level and plumb, as it determines the rest of the courses laid with that tool?

It will be equally fun to see a certain brickie in the foundations ..... and then backfilled (mentioning no names) LOL

Also are these foundation walls cavity or solid, and how wide

Fair play, shades of brookie there.

A jumbo band of sand would see that amount of blocks off and five bags of dust.

Cheers...worked out a tonne will do!(regular ~9*18*4 blocks)
Foundation already quite level and the tool will fit into the foundation just fine once i take the lugs off the bottom of it...just have to run a cord in the right place to get my cavity right.
Cheers,
Marty.
