what is the best way to fix this hole?

Can you explain what that is so I can get some idea of how large the hole is?
 
just where the plasterboard and plaster came away while i was removing some overskim the plasterers had left
 
I think I can now see that looks like a 13A socket? It’s a very small hole just use use flexible filler!
 
yes 13a socket, i was just worried about filling it as if i were to do this the filler would sit on top of the socket where the wiring is.

i'll give it a try, obviously isolating the socket first :D
 
Obviously pull the face plate away from the wall before filling!
