There's this one room, currently no carpet fitted, with floor boards in good condition but they're so noisey when you walk across them. Obviously the boards are rubbing against each other causing the noise. Apart from removing all the nails and screwing them down, is there anything i can do to shut them up? I was thinking about using no nails or something in between the boards, to stop them rubbibg against each other? any other ideas?

Cheers

i doubt if it is the boards rubbing against each other, more than likely each board is slightly warped which is why the only real solution is to pull the nails out and screw them down.

Been mention before and they use Talcum Power........

Talk? might give it a try. Now my next question is, should i use johnsons baby power or perhaps something from the brut 33 range :p
