I've got a UPVC window and it is letting a draft through. I think the black rubber gaskets are worn out and need replacing. Does anyone know how to do this (ie. remove and replace) and where I could buy new gaskets from? is there only one kind of gasket and the lenght varies and does replacing it require special tools?

any advice would be much appreciated. thanks.

before the double sided sticky security tape came along, push fit gaskets were all the rage.

no, they are not difficult to remove. you will need to tease them out with a flat blunt instrument such as a bladed screwdriver.

the new ones will be pre-greased and will push in easily, provided you find a like for like swap.
