Hi

I want to secure a (most likely metal) bike rack to a wall (concrete/brick).

What would be the best way to secure it to the wall? Using cement?

What sort of bike rack are you planning to use? A school bike-shed type (Ah, the memories  ) a Halfords-esq car rack or just some big hooks?

Is it going to be entirely mounted on the wall or is part of it going to be on the floor?

you could successfully secure a framing system to a wall using brown plugs and say 2,1/2" or 3" screws, if the weight of a push bike is all it has to hold.

If you are in Liverpool, then to secure this bike you probably want some titanium chains and high security locks.

Also, don't just secure the frame, or the scallys will pinch the wheels

Most likely it will be stuck on a wall. It will be in a semi-public location, so I would like it securely attached to the wall. I'd then use my D-lock to lock the bike up on the rack.

Ideally the rack would be "n" shape stuck on the floor...
