I have a Hudson Reed shower valve with 3/4" inlets. My supply pipes are 1/2" . If I fit 3/4" to 1/2" reducers to the inlets will the valve perform satisfactorily?.It will run off a combi boiler.
Can anyone offer advice? Thanks

Im in the same situation, any advice folks?

I was planning to use 22mm couplers to connect ot the shower valve, then use reducers

If it has 3 handles (on/off, temperature, diverter bath/shower) all in a line but in fact screwed together, be EXTREMELY careful that the joints between the 'modules' are actually water-tight. There is a model of this description which has threaded sections with a machined groove cut into the threads to retain an O ring. The result is supposed to seal when it's all screwed together. If it's a sunny day - it works. Otherwise - fat chance!
