Hi,
new to this forum, got loads of plumbing and heating questions but ill ask them 1 by 1 in diff threads.

I've recently bought and moved into a 65 year old 3 bed mid terrace house, i have no central heating and an electric water tank/boiler thing, i have lived here for 2 months now. When i came home from work and flushed the toilet the pipes made a humming noise, this has never happend before, what could of caused it?

Hi

The noise probably is from a ball valve inside the toilet cistern or in the tank in the loft.
