My heating isn't working !

3 people have been to my house (bungalow) to help and the problem lies with the
pump/divertor valve.

Only problem is, I (nor them) can find the bloody thing.
It isn't in the following places;
1/ The loft
2/ Near the hot water tank
3/ Under the floorboards
4/ Near the boiler
5/ Under the units in the kitchen

Has anyone any experience of finding "well hidden" pumps ? British Gas are coming next Thurday to "service" my boiler. If I can't tell them where the pump is, they won't be doing it.

cheers chaps

What sort of boiler is it? The pump maybe under the casing. Is it an old, old, system? Maybe you don't have one! Have you got four big pipes or two to the boiler? And how do the three people know whats wrong?

Its an old Glo worm boiler.

There are 2 pipes connected.

I have hot water, hence the valve is probably stuck ! The pump must be working.

Why not just follow the thick (22mm) pipes until you find it. It could be under the floor in the first floor room above the boiler, like mine is :rolleyes:
