Ideal mini c28 whistling on DHW side

Hi I'm wanting some advice, i've had an ideal mini c28 boiler in one of my properties since new 6 years ago. Recently it has started whistling when turning on a hot tap.
I've had a heating engineer out who said there was no faults showing on the boiler and its working fine, however the trouble is the boiler is located in a bedroom and its annoying for the current tenant.
Is there anything i can do about this?

Does it still make the noise when mains power is turned off ?
