I realize what this is and have seen 1st hand the consequences of compromising a cable like this so am very mindful that the correct answer is "you should not touch" but in reality is using something to persuade it over 4" a huge risk? I assume UKPN will not be interested in such a job or will charge an arm and a leg for it.
Don't worry Darwinian award forthcoming, sadly.Damage that cable, in attempting to move it, and you will take the entire street out, blinding, or potentially killing yourself. So you, doing anything with it, is very high-risk. Call the responsible people UKPN.
Or maybe a solid link with the fuse removed due to increased demand and newer houses builtA
And in the other direction all the way to the 200 ( or maybe 400 ) amp slow blow fuse

Those underground (armoured?) cables are not particularly fragile. We've ragged them about no end. You just don't go attacking them with shovels or machine buckets, lol.Don't worry Darwinian award forthcoming, sadly.
Edited: I had suggested digging more out and moving it. But I'd assumed it was modern armoured plastic coated. It looks like it may be older, in which case definitely do not touch.
