Indesit selector like a clock handle

Indesit washing machine DW 93

When a long program is selected via the selector, after about 15-20 mins going thru the cycle normally the programme selctor simply starts going round like a clock clicking away as it does.

The washing cycle stops, until it is reset.

Help !!

i dont know anything about indesit, but i would suggest you call them and get them to fix it, as quite often with a washing m/c its not what you think it is

Maybe this will help ?

Have now counted the number of flashes when the fault occurs > it is 8 flashes - This signifies the fault in the machine.

Does anyone happen to know what 8 flashes represent on the Indesit W93 ?
