Indesit WIL143 Motor fault ???

Hi,
Have noticed in the last few days that when washing the drum struggles to turn when washing you can hear a slight hum from the motor like it is trying even when empty, but it will do a spin ok. Just wondering if the brushes being worn would cause this, the drum turns by hand easily and doesn't feel stiff.

check brushes if they are ok motor u/s.

Thanks for the speedy reply just removed the brushes and they look fine about 17mm left, looks like the motor is on the way out
