For my little 300cc scoot. And I’ve gone for just S,D&P, riding no other bikes from business use, riding any bike. No claims or convictions.

Mine is £60.
It's historical though, but even before it was I never paid more than £100.

Car theft capital, UK. However, that is ridiculous.

All my insurances have increased massively this year too. Including PL insurance. Us honest folk end up paying for the scrotes.

I broke my arm in Austria recently and paid a modest amount to get treatment. My travel insurance (Nationwide Flex Plus) covered it. Claiming was simple and quick and they actually paid up instantly. I thought I'd need to jump through hoops and show the letters I had from the clinic etc. No need.

The lads asked me why I didn't inflate the claim. :(

Thing is, I’ve got other quotes starting from £81 upwards. I think they thought I was just going to auto renew.

I tried to buy this but they wouldn’t take me on, on account of previous 'incidents' on my car policy - two occasions when someone hit our stationary car in 2022. I didn’t even claim on my insurance - the other drivers insurance took care of it all. Eventually opted for a different one with protected NCD and just a £150 compulsory excess. £139. Not too bad an increase on £108 and a lot better than £442. 'Just' a 30% increase instead of a 300% one!

Every year my van ins comes for renewal I usually go and consult the Meerkats and see what they can do for me. Strangely when my last renewal (Aug.) came it was about the same as year before so no Go Comparing. Perhaps they've finally realised I'm way too tight to rinse some cash out of.

Happened to me with admiral multi policy for 5 years.
Then 200% increase.
So i split the insurances and got a cheaper price then previous years.

I had heard that motor/motorcycle insurance had gone down this year. Martin moneysavingexpert Lewis said to check elsewhere when you get your renewal as it will almost certainly be cheaper than last year but could possibly be cheaper still, elsewhere. Well, I’ve just had my renewal through. I paid £139 last year. This year…..£61.65. I've still checked elsewhere but I can’t beat that price so I’ll take it!

Looking at getting a bit of a toy for the summer and thought lets have a look at Audi R8 and thought better look at the insurance as it might be a bit stupid .
Well its the same price as my SUV 400 odd quid fully comp with no excessive .
I was expecting it to be well in the ££££ made it even more tempting
