Is house insurance policy valid for uPVC doors?

Someone told me that your house insurance can be invalid if you don't have mortice locks on your doors. I am going to buy uPVC doors with multilock on them. Does anyone know if these are insured or will I be making my house insurance invalid if I get these doors fitted??

As long there is a BS kitemark on the lock, they normally are but check with your insurer as mention.
