I recently have had a new kitchen installed. On one of the edges where the kitchen worktops join together a small section of the worktop has come off. Can you buy trims that can be fitted to worktop joins to hide this. Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

don't think so. I looking for where a worktop joins another section of worktop. aren't these trims for end of worktops?

maybe. Can these be attched after the worktop is fitted

where exactly is the the join!!!!

is it mitred!!!

i would like to know if its been sealed properly !!!
it will have to be sealed properly to stop water dammage

if its a corner join you use the first profile
if its end to end its the second profile
which ever one you use you need to open the joint a few mm coat all exposed surfaces to seal insert joiner on a bead off silicone and resecure worktops

if biscuts or dowels have been used you will need to remove these to insert the profile

Its a corner join. Sorry to sound so blonde, but not sure what mitred means. Basically stuck together does have bolts going through. Was hoping for a easy way to add a trim but maybe wishful thinking.

Thanks

if its got bolts and a masons mitre [a bit going at 45% so the edges match up]

it isnt going to work with the bits i have shown you because they only work at right angles and adapting them to blend into the front will require quite a palavour plus good metal working skills with a hacksaw a file and emmery paper   ;)

Maybe a photo would help us understand what the problem is - I've read this post twice and I can't make "moss nor sand" of it.
