Has anyone used 'Kooltherm 17' for insulating the inside surface of solid external walls ?

If so, was it reasonably easy ? Any opinions, please.

Best wishes

This is an old Q, but something that I was trying to find out all day.

Kingspan gave a flat NO. Apparently needs battens to give a 25mm airspace between board and wall. This negates use of K17 and advices use of K18. The timber recommended was 25mmx50mm TREATED TIMBER BATTENS, if I did not want to use metal furrings (what kind of a stoopidass name is that??!)

A furring is a tapered wooden strip commonly used to give a fall on a flat roof joist. I've never seen a metal one nor can think why it would be appropriate in this case.
