Just to stop me doing something stupid - I am presently laying an IKEA click laminated floor, with the usual staggered joints.

I have a recess alongside a chimney breast 90cm wide and about 3 planks deep.

Within this small space, should I cut the boards in a one whole/two halves staggered pattern or would the alternative of simply cutting 3 planks the same size and joining them be okay? It would certainly be quicker, but would it be acceptable?

Thank you. :?:

you can do it either way the whole board way leaves you with more ends so more waste a s you wont use them all appart from that no probs
