Hi all,

I'm about to put down some laminate in the hall way but have a problem. In hall way we have 1 step which drops the floor level.

How do I go about covering the step part with laminate.

Thanks in advance.

If you have a straight step, you can stick laminate to the riser and use a profile edge to cover the gap this is an L shaped transition bar that can be used to cover cut edges. ( You may need to build the riser out to suit.)

Alternatives would be the quickstep stair profile that is matched with the floor and fits flush.
